1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, pinch of nutmeg, 1/4 tsp salt
In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and melted butter until well combined.
1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
Then add the eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Whisk again until smooth.
2 large eggs, 1/2 cup sour cream or plain yogurt, 1 & 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until almost combined. Fold in the apples until just combined. Spoon the batter into the prepared baking pan.
3 cups apples
In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle on top. Using the tip of a small knife, gently swirl the cinnamon sugar into the batter.
1 tbsp granulated sugar, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Bake at 350F for one hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool for 30 minutes, then use parchment paper to remove the bread from the pan and let cool completely before slicing.
