Ingredients
Filling:

apples
peeled and sliced 1/4" thick (about 6 large apples)

Topping:

(188g) all-purpose flour

(125ml) milk

vanilla extract

(114g) unsalted butter

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9x13" baking dish and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the apples, sugar, spice and salt. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
8 cups apples,
1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar,
1 tsp apple pie spice or ground cinnamon,
1/4 tsp salt
In a medium bowl, toss together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
1 & 1/2 cups (188g) all-purpose flour,
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar,
1 Tbsp baking powder,
1/4 tsp salt
Start to stir in the milk and vanilla.
1/2 cup (125ml) milk,
1 tsp vanilla extract
Then stir in the melted butter until just combined
1/2 cup (114g) unsalted butter
Dollop and spread out the batter on top of the apples, leaving some space around the edges.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden.
Notes
Leftovers can be covered and stored in the fridge for up to 4 days.
