healthy double chocolate cookies
are about to become your new favorite treat. They’re soft and fudgy in the center and packed with real chocolate flavor thanks to unsweetened cocoa powder and melty mini chocolate chips.

Ingredients

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond butter, melted butter, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract.

4 tbsp maple syrup,
1 egg,
1 tsp vanilla extract
Add the almond flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda. Mix with a rubber spatula until just combined.

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder,
1 tsp baking soda
Fold in the chocolate chips. Using a medium cookie scoop, drop rounded cookie dough scoops 2" apart onto the prepared baking sheet.
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Flatten each cookie slightly with the palm of your hand, then press a few more chocolate chips onto each cookie if desired.
Bake for 8-10 minutes and let cool completely on baking sheet.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to 1 week.
