Chewy and chocolatey with the great taste of Reese's pieces! These cookies are fun for the whole family to enjoy.Well, we’re almost ready for Halloween. The kids have their costumes picked out. The boys are dressing up as Captain America and Iron Man this year. Yup, it’s all about the super heroes in our house. I guess that’s what you get when you have boys. The house isn’t quite ready yet. I have 2 boxes of Halloween decorations I still need to bring up from the basement. We’ll see when that happens since we also have my in-laws visiting and staying with us for two weeks. It’s nice to see them and the kids are thrilled because they don’t get to see Pappa and Gabba very often. That’s the unfortunate thing about having family that lives far away, but it does make the time you spend together more special.

Chewy and chocolatey with the great taste of Reese's pieces! These cookies are fun for the whole family to enjoy. As a fun little treat, we’ve been baking these Reese’s double chocolate Halloween cookies. They are soft, chewy and fudgy. The Reese’s pieces adds a delightful crunchy and slight salty peanut butter taste to these very chocolatey cookies. My kids love rolling out the cookie dough, adding extra Reese’s Pieces, and sticking the candy eyes onto the cookies.

I saw the idea from Baker’s Royal, but since I didn’t have any corn syrup on hand, I actually used this recipe from Recipe Rebel.
