Peanut butter, sugar and an egg is all you need to make these fabulous cookies in a snap! We’ve just ended our second week back to school and I have to say, it’s really nice to be back into a routine. My oldest is loving grade one and feeling like a big boy. In kindergarten the kids are just learning the basics, but now they start diving deeper into subjects like math and science, which are Ethan’s favorite subjects (it’s the Asian in him lol).

Peanut butter, sugar and an egg is all you need to make these fabulous cookies in a snap! These cookies are full of peanut butter goodness since peanut butter is the primary ingredient, along with a little bit of sugar and an egg. This recipe is from Kraft Canada and when I saw that it was only 3 ingredients, I was sold. I mean, who doesn’t love a good peanut butter cookie? Especially one you can whip up in a snap.

My kids love these cookies when they come home from school. This tasty treat refuels them and holds them over until dinner.

Description

These cookies are packed with the great taste of peanut butter. They are soft and slightly chewy. They are super easy to make and even better to eat!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (260g) smooth peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup (100g) sugar
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325F.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix all the ingredients together with a rubber spatula or wooden spoon.
  3. Drop rounded cookie mounds onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. If your batter is thick, criss-cross with a fork to flatten slightly. My batter was soft because my house was quite warm, so I didn’t need to flatten the cookies.
  4. Bake for 15-17 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned (do not overbake) Cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring onto a cooling rack.
