Flourless Almond Butter Banana Cookies
These healthy, delicious cookies are made with only simple and natural ingredients. Almond butter, banana, egg, vanilla, and a little maple syrup is basically all you need to make these cookies. Yet what you get is a puffy, soft, cake-like treat. It’s kind of like magic.
I personally like to add some mini chocolate chips when making these cookies. This makes them taste like a banana chocolate chip cake. And while adding the chocolate chips make the cookies a little less healthy, they’re still much better for you than your average cookie.
The other option is to add some healthy nuts or dried fruit. You can also replace the vanilla with cinnamon if you prefer. In the picture below, I added some pecans and cinnamon. Lots of options with this healthy little treat.
Make a batch of these cookies today, enjoy and feel good about it!

Got all my ingredients ready to make this morning and realized i dont have natural almond butter. 1 Jar is almond butter with Maple syrup. Other jar is unsweetened and no salt. Section in whole foods where you can grind your own butter is closed, so now have to go back to find closest thing to natural
You can use the unsweetened no salt almond butter. That is natural almond butter and will work for this recipe. I hope you like it and happy Saturday!
Have you tried making these with Almond flour, Wondering what the measurements would be
Almond flour would not work because you need the oil from the almond butter for this recipe. I hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions:)
I baked these the other day for my friends and they all disappeared in less than 30 minutes! I love how they are flourless so thank you for sharing this recipe!

These look good! Can you freeze them?
Hi Sonal, I have never tried freezing these cookies before, but I don’t see why not, so I would say yes. Thank you for your questions and enjoy:)
